AGG EARLY RENEWAL
February 23, 2011
This could be the first time in decades that Arnall Golden Gregory doesn't move—assuming the landlord agrees to restructure its lease prior to its 2014 expiration. |
Sources tell Bisnow that AGG is in talks to renew its 140K SF leaseat 171 17th Street at Atlantic Station. If it happens, this will be the first time in a generation that firm would actually renew at its current office. Since the early 1980s, AGG has moved every time it faced a move/renew decision. In the last move, the firm was one of theanchor tenants in the debut office tower at Atlantic Station, also home to Wells Fargo. As we reported in September, AGG tapped JLL's Duncan Gibbs, Brad Armstrong, Rob Metcalf, and Dave Demarest to assist. Officials with AGG declined to comment for the story. However, if AGG and JP Morgan (owners of 171 17th Street) are unable to come to terms, then the firm will issue a wider RFP to the metro office market, a source says. We previously reported the firm could hit the market with a 125K SF lease. |
