ATLANTIC STATION LAND REINCARNATION
May 17, 2012
Gridlock on the 17th Street bridge getting you down? Frustrated trying to navigate West Peachtree Street? Just really mad about a Braves loss? Well, one day soon you can take a meditative break at Buddhist cultural center in the heart of Atlantic Station.
Here's what the cultural center will look like once completed. We spoke with City Realty Advisors' president Tim Holdroyd, who has been helping Soka Gakkai International (a worldwide lay Buddhist organization that promotes the philosophy of a 13th century Japanese Buddhist) locate a cultural center in Atlanta for the past two years. The group purchased an acre parcel at 17th and Village streets for $1.9M from CBRE Global Investors and will develop a 12k SF facility, Tim tells us.
