Apartment Warning

During our Future of Downtown Atlanta event last week, we chatted with Vertical AVTV's Bill Shiverick, Cousins Properties' Thad Ellis, and Stites & Harbison's JD Humphries. JD says lending for apartment projects is very strong. And that worries him. (Like roombas and children, the stronger they become, the more we have to worry.) "If there's one area that we think there is a glut, it's apartments. My question is are we repeating past ills? I think we're beginning to see it." Read our previous coverage of the event here.
