BASKETBALL'S RESTAURATEUR
May 20, 2010
Yesterday, we snapped the former Eno by Zaza in Midtown. Hawks player Zaza Pachulia purchased the wine bar/restaurant in 2009 but abruptly closed it last week. Now, he's teaming up with restaurant guru A.D. Allushi (formerly of Market and Thrive) and Chef Ian Winslade to reopen it as 5th Street Caf, ?a high-energy eatery with a warm, inviting vibe.? The cafe, which is being renovated, is set to open early June, and will be more relaxed than Eno. |
Zaza, originally from Georgia (the country, not the state), is a center for the Hawks. He also has partnered with A.D. and Ian on the soon-to-open Buckhead Bottle Bar. We took this yesterday, as construction workers put the final touches on the space at East Paces Ferry and Bolling, expected to open in a couple weeks. Buckhead Bottle Bar will be a ?cocktail house? with four bars, high cocktail tables, and a DJ booth. |
