BATS HEAT UP
June 15, 2011
Both Jones Lang LaSalle and Rooker's bats were hot last night during their CRE softball league game. But it was Rooker that ended up winning, 13-12, with help from this three-run homer by State Bank and Trusts' Hunter Amos (looking like a young Eddie Mathews). When not smacking balls out of the park, Hunter's been helping the bank spur more lending to the CRE community, particularly in value-add deals in office and retail, most of which had been foreclosed by other banks. | |
Carter took and kept a strong lead early on in its game against CBRE, particularly after this solid triple by Carter's Ryan Meehan. Carter topped CBRE 17-3. And Ackerman & Co beat out NAI Brannen Goddard in its game 15-10. Tonight's matchups at the Pace Academy ball field include Cushman & Wakefield versus PattiLee, PMRG Indies facing off against MajEllis, and the still-undefeated Colony Bandits defending its record against Richard Bowers. |
