There's another consequence to the mega bookseller's closings:insomnia. Last night we broke bread (slathered in pesto) with Reis head nerd Dr Victor Calanog over dinner at Au Pied de Cochon at IHG in Buckhead. (He's in town for a couple of days from NYC on biz.) We didn't get there a moment too soon, either. Our waiter Martin (pronounced Martini) told us, the restaurant is closing. (Until then, you can stop by 24 hours a day for its signature cr me brulee, but remember, no booze after 2am.) Victor's economic take: ?What happened to the Buckhead Triangle Borders?
