We've already hit bottom in the leasing market, according to a new research report from JLL?s Atlanta team. Some areas, they say, like downtown and the northwest submarkets, are stabilizing.Construction-heavy Buckhead (think Phipps Tower, above) is going to take longer. Overall, don't expect insta-recovery. ?The market will likely need most of 2010 to fully stabilize, and with significant job creation still a ways off, occupancy growth in Atlanta's office properties should remain fairly stagnant,? the report says. |
