BROKER SPOTTING
June 25, 2012
It's our favorite sport, even if the International Olympic Committee deemed it unworthy of their games. We spotted brokers in all sorts of places, though most (ok, all) were parties where they could show off their properties.
First up, Highwoods Properties' Jim Bacchetta, Lavista Associates'Tom Davenport, and Highwoods' Mike Wells at Lavista's new Buckhead office. The firm moved earlier this year from its long-time Peachtree Corners location to Prominence in Buckhead, just in time for its 40th anniversary. Tom got to show off the new digs during a house warming party with some 200 other CRE pros.
Cousins Properties CEO Larry Gellerstedt and tvsdesign's principal Steven Clem chatted away during a Cousins' event at Promenade. Larry is also a panelist tomorrow at Bisnow's Atlanta Future of Transportation event at the W Atlanta Midtown (treat yourself right), where he will detail projects that could be funded by the TSPLOST(1% transpotation sales tax) and perhaps give more on the much-ballyhooed Gulch multimodal project downtown.
Cushman & Wakefield's John Winter, Colliers International's Jodi Selvey, and Cousins Properties' Bill Hollett were also hanging around the Cousins' Promenade event. Cousins recently renovated the Midtown Arts district tower (with the help of tvsdesign), including a ?grand makeover? of the former AT&T office spaces, a first-ever fitness center in the building and new amenities, Bistro 1230 and the Bean Counter cafe.
Next time you go golfing, invite Joel & Granot's Danny Granot. He's the proud new owner of a set of Callaway clubs. Danny (here with Cushman & Wakefield's Lisa Dunavin) was the winner at a long putt contest during Cushman & Wakefield's broker event at Bank of America Plaza last week. |
