CANTERBURY TALES
October 8, 2010
A local real estate investor has just bought a nice slice of Buckhead. And for the time being, he's just gonna sit on it. |
A partnership with Will Stolz called TI Canterbury purchased an undeveloped 1.8-acre parcel on Canterbury Road near the intersection of Lenox. It's one of the few undeveloped residential spots left in the heart of Buckhead, and was foreclosed upon in January by the First National Bank of Georgia on a JV between Kennedy Capital Group and Capital Partners Development with a $1.7M loan, according to Databank. Will purchased the parcel for $750K, and under current zoning can develop 26 townhouses. John Haynes and Scott McGregor with Resource Real Estate Partners brokered the sale. For now, Will has no plans to develop the land. ?Essentially we bought it as an idea of an investment,? he tells us. |
