| Now that it's sold off its brokerage arm, Carter's Scott Taylor andBob Peterson have mapped out the firm's 2012 strategy. Its big focuses will be mixed-use and multifamily urban projects, student housing, opportunity and value-add office buys and project management. So far, Carter seems to be following those marching orders, having recently purchased the former Macy's office space (now a data center) in Downtown Atlanta through its Carter Valdius REIT. And last month, Carter announced plans to double the size of the retail and multifamily at its Banks Cincinnati project. |
