CLEANING UP
The Clorox distribution warehouse IDI and USAA Real Estate announced last week could be 300k larger than initially thought. This week, IDI filed plans with the state of Georgia to develop a whopping 1.5M SF warehouse for Clorox southwest of Atlanta near Hartsfield-Jackson. That would rank it right up there with the distribution center Rockefeller is developing for General Mills in the exurb of Social Circle, Ga. The Clorox facility, to be built on land owned by a USAA subsidiary in Fairburn, is scheduled for completion in Feb '11. Clorox signed a nice 10-year lease for the building, which will be erected on a 72-acre site in the Southcreek Industrial Park near I-85 South. | |
