DEAL MIRAGE?
As you will learn about us, we use any excuse to eat, especially our putative journalistic duty. Today was no exception. |
We had lunch just an hour ago at Tavern at Phipps with Wes Hudson, right, managing principal of Reznick Group's Atlanta office, here with colleagues Marie Conroy and Bruce Van Vreede. Wes warned against reading too much into the large industrial and office deals we've seen recently in the metro area; he thinks they're more a sign of companies taking advantage of poor market conditions. As for Reznick itself, don't expect the Top 20 CPA firm (and largest in the US with a principal specialty in commercial real estate) to do the same. It's comfortable at Perimeter Summit, where its lease expires in 2014. Come 2012, though, they'll be scouting for a deal. |
