DIFFERENCES SETTLED
Yesterday we snapped CardioMEMS headquarters at Technology Enterprise Park near Georgia Techday. That's when we got word famed Atlanta cardiologist Dr. Jay Yadav settled his dispute with the Cleveland Clinic. The clinic dismissed Yadav in 2006 over a potential conflict of interest. Yadav fired back in 2007, when he filed suit claiming Cleveland Clinic defamed him. After years of battle, the clinic has acknowledged that Yadav properly disclosed the relationship in question and that related research he conducted while at the clinic had not been compromised. Now Jay can concentrate his efforts on inventing his next cool wireless medical device designed to help patients with severe chronic cardiovascular diseases. |
