DISTRESS BUYS MOUNT
January 19, 2011
Special servicers taking control of defaulted commercial properties shows no real signs of slowing down, according to the latest data from Trepp. And LaVista Associates' Tom Davenport says it will probably remain at this level for some time. ?I think the trend that was evidenced based on this data for 2010, will continue in 2011,? Tom says. This is due in part to the servicing community looking toprotect the value of its commercial assets as conditions deteriorate, Tom says. |
