DUKE GETS PRIMERICA
September 19, 2011
Get ready to travel down ?Primerica Parkway.? No, it's not the newest Toby Keith hit. It's part of the deal just announced that has Duke Realty Corp developing a two-building, 344,400 SF build-to-suit for Primerica's HQ in Legacy Park in Gwinnett County (rendered). The complex will be two three-story buildings joined by a central structure that will house Primerica's TV studio and corporate assembly area that will consolidate offices scattered around the metro area, housing 1,800 employees. | |
Part of that consolidation involves leaving its current HQ at 3120 Breckinridge Blvd in Duluth (above) once delivered in 2013. Duke will rename the main entrance off Highway 120 to ?Primerica Parkway.? C&W's Travis Jackson, Sam Hollis, Ken Ashley, John O'Neill, and Chris White repped Primerica, while Duke's Chris Brown and Craig Flanagan brokered for the developer. The deal caps off a months-long search (perhaps years considering the aborted try earlier this decade) that involved various other potential sites, including Taylor & Mathis' Sugarloaf Corporate Center and Greenstone Properties' Huntcrest West developments. |
