ENGINES REVVED FOR CHARITY
October 11, 2010
Metlife's Bill Runge strikes a pose next to his 1968 Pontiac GTO. Bill's baby was one of a few dozen exotic dream machines on hand for Choate Construction's car show last Thursday. The Atlanta GC invited fellow auto aficionados to show off their loves in its parking lot to help raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Emily Choate says the event raised more than $4,000, with some 60 cars and nearly 200 attendees. Even Choate founder Millard Choate got to show off his factory original 1955 Chevy Bel Air. |
