Frazier & Deeter Head To Promenade
July 23, 2013
Accounting firm Frazier & Deeter is making a detour to another Midtown office tower. (Every time they think they're out, we pull them back in.) We've got the exclusive.
Frazier & Deeter has just inked a 96k SF deal at Promenade, moving from Bank of America Plaza. (Will it be awkward running into their old building around town?) Cousins' Thad Ellis, above, and Bill Hollett were tasked with the multi-month negotiations with Frazier & Deeter—the state's second largest CPA and advisory firm—which'll transform four floors at the 774k SF Promenade tower into its world HQ.
Cousins bought Promenade in 2011 from Boston-based Beacon Capital for more than $135M. At the time, the tower was just 58% leased. But Cousins officials say they have stacked it with new and expanding tenants, including Gannett-owned Blinq and Buckley Klein, pushing occupancy to 88%. The tower still has 100k SF available. (So now you know where to go if you need office space... or if you're a giant who needs an apartment.)
