GROWING LAW FIRM MAY SEEK NEW DIGS
October 5, 2010
We stopped by Atlanta Financial Center in Buckhead, as it's the home of Barnes & Thornburg, though it may not be after its lease expires in 2012. The Indianapolis-based law firm entered the Atlanta market last year and has aggressively grown, so it already needs larger offices, partner Stuart Johnson tells us. B&T now has 19 attorneys, and expects to have 30 to 40 by the end of 2011. ?This is an expansion market for us,? Stuart says. Cushman & Wakefield's Ken Ashley and Sam Hollis are repping the firm in its search, which involves a spread of Class A office properties throughout Buckhead, including renewing and expanding at AFC. ?There's an opportunity as an tenant to strike a favorable deal,? he says. |
