HILL PHOENIX CONSOLIDATING HQ
October 8, 2012
Next time you're at the grocery store, say a small thanks to that refrigerator case for growing its presence in the metro area. (Just don't let anyone hear you—we've made that mistake before.)
We learned last week that Hill Phoenix, a Conyers manufacturer of heavy equipment, including grocer refrigeration, is planning to consolidate its operations into Atlanta. Sources tell us it's in the market for up to 450k SF of industrial and 50k SF of office space for a new HQ, replacing its current facility at 1003 Sigman Rd. Officials with the company did not return calls seeking comment.
Colliers International's Rick Vaughn (above) is said to be repping the company but was unavailable for comment. Among the possible sites Hill Phoenix is considering: a site on Sigman Road owned by Ashley Capital and the former Biolab facility in Covington for a move by next year, sources say.
