How To Lead Brokers To The Internet
September 3, 2013
Determined that brokers shouldn't have to master technology themselves, entrepreneur Jason Freedman and former C&W tenant rep Justin Bedacarre launched 42Floors in San Fran and NYC two years ago. It's a simple idea that they expect to carry them to all primary US markets within a year. They walked away from their first meeting in San Fran's Ironside Cafe with a plan for a free site that lists commercial properties for rent, featuring large pictures of the interiors (the single thing tenants want most). Money comes from advertising, not listings. They even match interested tenants to tenant reps. (Match.com be damned, this is where you'll find true love.)
