IF CHIPPER JONES LEASED OFFICES
October 9, 2012
If Atlanta's office market were a baseball game, it?d be pretty tame, according to Cousins Properties' Thad Ellis.
?I will still describe [the office market] using baseball vernacular: A lot of singles and doubles. We haven?t landed anything bigger than that,? Thad says. ?We're going to have a solid year, but not a great year.? Thad will share more of his baseball analogies this Thursday atBisnow's Atlanta State of the Office at the Ritz-Carlton in Buckhead (last chance tickets here). Thad says there is office activity, and brokers are staying busy, but not overwhelmed: ?We're not adding enough net new jobs…to expect robust office activity right now.? Is it wrong to hope the Cardinals' 25-man roster is job-hunting in a week?
