INSULATING A DEAL
July 21, 2011
An even bigger deal was leased at 5005 Terminus Drive at Oakley Industrial in Fairburn. Jones Lang LaSalle's Bob Robers and Paul Roeser helped Owens-Corning grab 570k SF at the warehouse to store its insulation material made at a nearby plant. It's a short-term lease—only through January—but helps the company squirrel away insulation supplies until demand for it hits in winter, Bob says. ?When you're in the insulation business, you keep producing all year long,? he says. Avison Young's Chet Koenig represented the landlord, ING. Bob says the company is evaluating longer-term plans for that space. (We bet it's a cozy temperature though.) |
