| We have here what might be the biggest Who's Who in non-bank mortgage lenders. Pictured: JD Crowe, Arnold Martin, John Gibson, Cal Haupt, Allen KenKnight, and Larry Delbridge, all of whom recently merged under the Southeast Mortgage umbrella to become one of the metro's largest non-bank mortgage brokerage firms. Cal, president of the company, just signed Prolending's five offices to the company, bringing the total number of Southeast Mortgage offices to 19. Cal tells us that consumers have been coming back into the residential market. ?We're seeing a shift, a little bit stronger condo purchase right now,? he says, with credit requirements and underwriting back to 2000 standards. |
