JGRE SEEKS TRIPLE PLAY
October 5, 2010
It's safe to say Joel & Granot's Alan Joel (aka, Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors prez) will never look down on washing the dishes again. A kitchen equipment wholesaler has already led him to two connected deals and third may be in the works. |
Sunlow Inc. just purchased a 60K SF warehouse at 1400 English Ave. for $1.9M, moving its operations to the new facility. That's the first deal Alan did with Joel & Granot's Dave Smith. To make the move, the firm's Philip Covin worked on a deal to move Peachtree Fabrics (the tenant in that facility) to 765 Trabert Ave. for 20K SF. Philip repped the landlord while Transwestern's Brent Dutson handled Peachtree Fabrics? lease. Now JGRE could turn a triple play if it successfully sells or leases Sunlow?s former facility 1071 Howell Mill Rd. (rendering above), a 35K SF building, which may be renovated to attract showroom tenants. ?It's definitely showroom potential. It's literally facing White Provision [mixed-use development], and it's got the whole Westside and what's going on in that area for it,? Alan says. |
