Carter's Mark Joines and Drew Fleming repped the owner in the sale of Liberty Square, a 109k SF shopping center in Hinesville, Ga. It sold for $6.5 million and is 98% leased. Tenants include Peebles, Goodwill, Dollar General, and USA Discounters. The purchaser is a large private equity group that owns shopping centers and office buildings throughout the country. Says Fleming: ?The center?s proximity to Fort Stewart and reasonable rental rates made it very attractive to investors. The local economy has really benefited from the growth of Fort Stewart and the types of tenants in this center cater to current national economic conditions.? |
