MORRIS MANNING BACK IN TALKS WITH HINES
July 13, 2011
Like the twist in The Sixth Sense, we didn't see this coming: Morris Manning & Martin has reversed course and is back at the table with Hines Interests for a major renewal at the Atlanta Financial Center in Buckhead. |
We've been hearing for a few days that the law firm's pending deal with Dewberry Capital at the Campanile Building was facing unspecified headwinds. That, despite the press announcement Morris Manning made in May that it had signed an LOI with Dewberry to take 140k SF. When reached by phone Morris Manning partner Frank Bazzel declined to comment. But sources tell us the firm is in talks to lease 120k SF at its current home in Atlanta Financial Center, which would be a major coup for Hines. Hines' John Heagy and officials with Dewberry couldn't be reached for comment. The reasoning for the 180 was unclear. Stay tuned. |
