MOVIN' ON UP
September 19, 2011
Mike Elting is moving on up. The head of the Cushman & Wakefield Atlanta office is stepping down from his day-to-day office management duties to direct the growth of C&W's alliance program across the Americas and to take on some other initiatives. |
The Alliance network now has 26 firms, including Cornerstone Commercial Real Estate Services in Nashville and Pyramid Brokerage Co in New York. He'll report directly to C&W CEO of the Americas' Jim Underhill. The search is on for a replacement, with an internal committee gathering and vetting candidates. Mike says the company prefers someone with a strong Atlanta connection. The new Atlanta director will certainly be facing a big challenge: to help ?broaden? C&W's business platform beyond tenant rep and capital markets, expanding its management and leasing and corporate services—areas that JLL and CBRE have pushed in recent years. |
