Misdom's Home Run
July 31, 2013
Cresa's Bob Misdom has swung for the fences on his latest HQ deal, helping SwingAway Sports Products (makers of a batting practice cage as seen above) ink a nearly 20k SF HQ and warehouse deal in Marietta. (Serious baseball coaches and overbearing fathers rejoice!) Bob says the deal came very quickly for SwingAway. "We had terms agreed to in probably less than two months," he says. LIT/Hodges Industrial Trust's 1235-A Kennestone Circle was repped by Avison Young's Tom Crowe.
Bob (fresh from deal making above) tells us many of his clients this year have been searching for deals outside of Atlanta, including a recent full-floor deal he did for Swett & Crawford in Chicago. And landlords still have incentives out there, but "it's not the way it used to be. They no longer have to give it all away."
