NEW AND OLD
This morning we snapped The Biltmore, now home to a brand-new law firm focusing on intellectual property. McKeon, Meunier, Carlin & Curfman has leased 8k SF at the old hotel in midtown at 817 West Peachtree. The four founding principals at McKeon Meunier are Tina McKeon and Drew Meunier from Fish & Richardson,Christopher Curfman from Ballard Spahr, and Gregory Carlin from Edwards Lifesciences, a medical device maker. Signing the firm is good news for developer Jim Borders, who acquired The Biltmore Hotel in early 1998 and converted it to 290k SF of office, event, and retail space. It was, for a while, the hot spot for dot-com start-ups, but life goes on. |
