| Discover Mills in Lawrenceville is home to the first-ever Sears Fashion Outlet. The 30k SF store carries end-of-season, discontinued, and overstock apparel and home items, such as small appliances. Prices are 60-80% off retail. The store already is open but plans an official grand opening May 15. Other tenants at Simon?s Discover Mills include Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th, Neiman Marcus Last Call, NikeFactoryStore and others. As for whether Sears will roll out the concept more broadly, spokeswoman Kimberly Freely tells us, ?We have 28 of our 98 stores carrying apparel to one degree or another and will expand the Sears Fashion Outlet format depending on opportunities for liquidation within the established store base.? |
