This multi-story treehouse, complete with a zip line, is the product of Jordan Co's David Walmsley. David sent us pics of his awesome tree fort, which he built for his two sons, Henry, 7, and George, 4, and completed just before Labor Day. David says he spent $650 to build out the treehouse. ?The most difficult part was leveling the vertical supports while simultaneously assembling the frame for the decking,? he says. And the zip line wasn't quite what the kids had in mind. ?They want me to also add either a roller coaster or a water slide,? he says. When he explained to them that a roller coaster probably isn't feasible because their dad would need a structural engineer and a large construction crew, they suggested that it would probably be okay if he built it himself out of wood. We'll let you know if he undertakes the renovations. |
