NO NAPS FOR SOFTWARE CO
July 27, 2011
Internap, a downtown software company, may be considering writing its code in a whole other submarket. |
Sources tell us that Internap is out in the market with 90k SF, despite being locked into a long-term lease for its HQ at the American Cancer Society Center (formerly known as the Inforum) in downtown. And sources say the company could move to Central Perimeter. Details remain elusive, especially what buildings the firm is eyeing in the Central Perimeter, but a company spokesperson says Internap is expanding its datacenter at ACSC. Jones Lang LaSalle's David Demarest and Brad Armstrong are representing the firm. Internap's lease at ACSC (owned by Cousins) expires in 2020. ?They may be looking for additional space in another submarket, but as far as we know it will have no effect on their space at ACSC,? says Cousins spokesperson Cameron Golden. |
