PERIMETER DEVELOPMENT CONTINUES
November 4, 2010
Speaking of Easlan Capital, dirt is moving again at the former Crawford & Co. building at 5620 Glenridge Dr. Easlan's Todd Syprett says the owner, BTIC Glenridge (an investment group related to Easlan), has green lit the construction of a parking deck and a 20K SF retail center that is already 50% preleased to undisclosed tenants, including an eatery. Wood Partners also is expected to develop (gasp!) a 168-unit apartment project called Alta Glenridge Springs at the site. And while the 84.5K SF office building is shelled and empty, Todd says the activity has raised tenant awareness in the property again. ?Since we cleared the site about a month ago, we've gotten a flurry of activity,? he says (Colliers International's Hugh Pafford is leasing or selling the office portion). Crawford & Co. vacated the property in '07, a year after Easlan purchased it from them. At the time, Crawford entered into a short-term lease with Easlan so it could find a new HQ building. It has remained empty since Crawford left. |
