PLANTING A NEW MAGNOLIA
May 16, 2011
This is somewhat unusual to hear, but Freddie Mac actually sold something. The government sponsored residential mortgage financier sold the Magnolia in Sandy Springs, a Class-B plus apartment project built in 1981 for $9.5M (or more than $35k/unit) to Mass.-based Aspen Square Properties, according to real estate sales tracker Databank. Cushman & Wakefield's Chris Spain and Nathan Swenson brokered the deal, located at 7100 Roswell Rd. Officials with Aspen couldn't be reached for comment, but according to its website, the firm also owns Oakbrook Pointe in Norcross, Meridian Pointe in Duluth, and Arlington Park at Wildwood in Marietta. |
