Pattillo and DeKalb Celebrate

With its CEO Larry Callahan at the podium , Pattillo Industrial Real Estate broke ground Friday on a 35-acre, $8.5 million build-to-suit project for Marten Transport in Stone Mountain Industrial Park. Marten has committed to bring 250 jobs initially—and up to 500 jobs long-term—to the location. As part of the deal, Pattillo sold the land, which is in Tucker, to Marten. Will McFarlin of Burr & Temkin repped Marten in the transaction. | |

DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis is no doubt happy to have some good economic development news and commended the companies for bringing jobs. The Development Authority of DeKalb County provided incentives to Marten. Ah, the smell of fine dirt in the air; we could use more of that. |
