Investor demand for retail product is stronger than in the past few years, so we're gathering Atlanta's top retail execs at Bisnow's 3rd annual Atlanta Retail Real Estate Summit at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead tomorrow (last remaining ticketshere). JLL managing director Margaret Caldwell saysstruggling suburban properties are still being left out in the coldthe market hasn't changed for the tougher stuff. But investor demand is open to all types of CBD retail, from strip centers to power centers and malls. Margaret and her partner Kris Cooper just helped sell a Walmart Neighborhood Market in Lawrenceville to Solon Mack for an undisclosed sum.
