SAVANNAH BEDDING
December 6, 2010
A couple of Atlanta brokers have made their bed in Savannah. |
Colliers International's David Sink sent us this of the 689K SF warehouse at LogistiPort Industrial Park in Savannah. Home furnishings maker JLA Home just purchased it for its East Coast assembly and distribution center for an undisclosed price from Dermody Properties/DP Partners. Sink, with Colliers' Savannah office, and Steve Chess, with Townsend Commercial Real Estate, brokered the deal for JLA, while Steve Grable and Bob Robers with Jones Lang in Atlanta repped DP Partners, which was managed by staffers Par Tolles and Stephen Bailey. The deal is one of the largest industrial sales in Savannah in the past three years and comes at a time when some veteran industrial players say Savannah activity is increasing. JLA is expected to hire 100 employees once it opens for business in 2011. |
