Tax consulting firm Reznick Group is keeping commercial real estate green in more ways than one. It also consults with clients on how to become more green. Reznick recently consulted with a national retailer that installed a solar panel array on a warehouse in New Jersey. Now the company not only generates a significant portion of its electricity using solar, but Reznick Group also helped a them earn federal funding—the 1603 Grant Program, which can offset as much as 30% of the cost for solar,photovoltaic, or solar hot water systems. Tim says Reznick is seeing a ?significant uptick in business? next year as more and more property owners seek to reposition assets through GAAP and tax issues, or seeing foreign investment interest, which Reznick has a 30-year history of helping place in the market.
