SPLOST VOTES MATTER

| The loss of the SPLOST vote last month was a topic that came up again at our event. ?Tremendous failure,? is a phrase North American Properties' Mark Toro, above, has heard in regards to the lack of support for transportation funding. And while Georgia has gained some economic development wins even after the defeat, some panelists warned that without infrastructure investment, those wins won't continue. ?Just because we've had success doesn?t mean we will continue to succeed,? Mark says. Childress Klein's Gordon Buchmiller echoed those sentiments: ?We know the deals we made. We don't know the deals we didn't make. I think we're probably missing out on more than we realize.? | ||
