As one of the nation's largest lenders of Fannie Mae DUS, Freddie Mac Program Plus, and HUD, Walker Dunlop has seen positive growthdespite the fact that Atlanta is hammered with job loss. Charlie says that Atlanta occupancies and multifamily space continue to improve year over year. Rents are up 2.9%, while new supply levels are at 17-year lows. He claims that Atlanta is still a place people want to live, the cost of living is reasonable, the weather is great, and there is plenty of opportunity (30,000 projected jobs in 2012).
