STREAMIN' DEALS
June 7, 2012
Stream Realty not only grabbed a huge industrial portfolio to lease and manage, but it also nabbed a couple of sizable deals.
We sipped coffee on Bistro Niko's patio in Buckhead yesterday with Stream's Ben Hautt, who detailed his plan to take over the world (or at least CRE marketshare in ATL). He highlighted a couple of noteworthy deals, including landing Synovus Financial Corp into 27k SF at Founders Park in Alpharetta. Stream's Simon Arpiarian and Kyle Luby repped the landlord while CBRE's Kevin Carroll and Ryan Irvine aided the tenant. Other recent Stream deals include Staples' 16k SF deal at Lake Ridge Technology Center and an 11k SF deal for Tetra Tech at Northmont Business Center.
Stream has grown from just two employees to now 18 in Atlanta. And DRA Advisors added 1M SF of industrial space to its leasing and management portfolio here. Ben tells us this was all part of a well-conceived master plan made long ago. ?It was real strategic planning. We did it on a napkin.? (Which is exactly how Jan and Dean's hit song "Honolulu Lulu" was written.) Click the video to hear Ben talk about where Stream plans to grow next.
