SUGAROAK GET CENTERS
December 8, 2010
New blood in Peachtree Corners is going to inject new energy into an old office complex. Virginia-based SugarOak Holdings recently purchased Crossings Center on Holcomb Bridge and Crossings Center on the Parkway in Norcross—a total of 160K SF—for an undisclosed sum. SugarOak bought the projects through its SugarOak Opportunity Fund, formed last year. SugarOak's John MacDonell tells us that the two centers are ?aggressively being repositioned? and will undergo major renovations including new facade, interior fixes, new landscaping, and signage. Since SugarOak's takeover, the company has leased 19K SF in 11 deals and secured 20K SF in renewals. And writing this, we now want to eat something sweet. |
