TEEING UP DEALS
June 8, 2011
We caught up with JLL's Anna Ford and The Dryman Team's president John Dryman, catching a break from the heat after the all-day Corenet's golf tournament at the Dunwoody Country Club. John has been dabbling a little in Hollywood lately. He recently helped broker the sale of 1175 Chattahoochee Ave, a 118k SF warehouse, to Metals Development for $3.15M. An investor in the property, Metals intends to lease the facility to movie and TV studios for future productions, as it had in the past with The Walking Dead and most recently the filming of Disney's Odd Life of Timothy Green. Wilson Hull & Neal's Joseph Rogers brokered for the buyer.
Congrats to this trio: Steelcase's Craig Johnson, CBRE's Bob Martinello, and Steelcase's Laura Howell, who won the Corenet golf tournament with a 58. Kudos also to HITT Contracting's Roger Delaney and Ryan Bixler and Oldcastle's Doug Black and John Kemp, who won the tourney's putting contest.
Down, set, fore! We caught IBM's Don Buchanan passing a football around while waiting to tee off. Don, who handles corporate real estate for Big Blue, says most of his activity lately has been in the DC area, where IBM leases some 2M SF. |
