| The Duluth-based insurance giant did confirm to us that it retained Cushman & Wakefield to ?assess property options? but characterized the search as being in the ?early stages.? With some1,700 employees at the Duluth HQ, a company official told us that Primerica executives ?remain committed to Gwinnett.? Cushman & Wakefield's Travis Jackson, Sam Hollis, and Ken Ashley are representing the company. This is the second time Primerica has emerged onto the real estate scene in recent years; it had been in a search for a possible new HQ location when those plans werescuttled when parent company Citigroup became mired in the credit crunch back in 2008. | |

| An Atlanta architecture firm's latest hire could just make you scream. Baker Barrios Architects has tapped Charles Bell to head up the expansion of its urban planning and design division. Charles was owner and director of the planned $240M Orlando Thrill Park, a new theme park in Florida. He also has project experience with Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Paris, and Orlando International Airport and is currently master planning the health village project for Southeast Alabama Health Sciences Campus with the College of Osteopathic Medicine, which includes a new medical school. | |
