Kemira HQ is moving to 1000 Parkwood, inking a 46k SF 12-year deal with the 10-story Class-A tower in Atlanta, moving the water chemistries company closer to its R&D center at Technology Enterprise Park. JLL's Brannan Moss and Rob Metcalf brokered the deal for Kemira, while Adam Viente and Jeff Frantz represented the landlord Parmenter Realty Partners. | |

Camden Property Trust purchased Estates at Phipps, a 234-unit apartment complex in Buckhead for an undisclosed sum. The project, six brick facade buildings that are 95% leased, is at 700 Phipps Blvd. Derrick Bloom with Jones Lang LaSalle brokered the sale for Equity Residential while working at Apartment Realty Advisors. | |

Congressman Sanford Bishop and Turner Construction's Marty Miller were on hand last week for the groundbreaking of the $333M Martin Army Community Hospital at Fort Benning. The 745k SF facility is being co-built by Turner and Ellerbe Becket and will serve Army personnel once completed in January of 2014. | |

Va.-based Hercules Real Estate Services recently completed the $6M renovation of The Villas at Lakewood in downtown Atlanta as part of the federal affordable housing program. Renovations to the 160-unit community include a new community building, a computer center, walking trails, new unit flooring/carpets, kitchen cabinets, and lighting. | |
