TRADING A CENTER
August 9, 2012
Park Avenue-based Rothenberg-Rosenfield purchased Marietta Trade Center, a 316k SF Walmart-anchored shopping center on Roswell Road in Marietta. Edens sold it for $32.8M, about $104/SF (or the price of five Walmart-branded collegiate beanbag chairs). Other tenants in this 95%-leased center include Foot Locker, Gamestop, and Dollar Tree. Rothenberg-Rosenfield?s Josh Rosenfield (above) tells us his firm is still actively seeking grocery-anchored deals in Atlanta. In this deal, the firm also acquired Edens' CMBS loan. Colliers International's Chris Routledge leases the property. Since its Atlanta debut acquisition in 2009, the firm has acquired two shopping centers in Roswell, including Centennial Village Phase I (anchored by Kroger) and Centennial Village Phase II (anchored by Kohl?s and PETCO). | ||
