TRANSWESTERN TAPS CONSTRUCTION VET
December 20, 2010
Transwestern Atlanta is entering the construction management business for the first time by hiring a guy who has done it on his own for a decade. |
We caught Greg Osbourne at his new desk in Buckhead. Bringing construction management in-house makes sense since Transwestern has grown its property management portfolio by nearly 400% in the past two years to 21.7M SF, says Transwestern's Rob Stuart. Greg also will assist the tenant broker teams in advising clients with build-out and move needs. Barely two weeks on the job, Greg's already handling the build-out of the interior space of both Mesirow Financial (5K SF) and Spaceworks (9K SF) at Crown Point in Dunwoody. Greg came to Transwestern after shuttering his own firm Osbourne & Associates. He says the decision to close was an easy one: ?There's so much competition and so little business to go around.? Before striking out on his own, he served as VP of development at Atlanta-based Taylor & Mathis. |
