Atlanta-based TBS is bringing Conan O?Brien to its late-night lineup. He'll be cracking us up every night at 11. This is quite a coup for our hometown firm, which had to convince the star to leave broadcast for cable. TBS, which has been successful rebranding itself as the ?very funny? network, is moving its current late-night comedian George Lopez to midnight. Steve Koonin, president of Turner Entertainment Networks, told the AJC that Conan is ?a transformative personality who could be on our network for the next decade and beyond.? Why doesn't Team Coco go all the way and broadcast from the Peach State? |
