Ocwen Financial: Fla Now Our HQ

Atlanta quietly lost a corporate HQ this month. According to a filing with the SEC, Ocwen Financial Corp announced that it has designated its West Palm Beach, Fla office as its corporate HQ, changing it from Atlanta. The firm gave no explanation for the reasoning of the move in documents, but notes that the firm was organized in the Sunshine State in 1998. Ocwen leases space at Northpark Town Center. Sources tell us the loss of HQ status has no immediate impact on Ocwen's space there. Last month, the financial services company announced it was cutting 10% of its US staff, or some 300 jobs, mainly from its Iowa facility.
