We also got to chat with NAI Brannen Goddard's Brad Pope (right, with Mike Chambers and Jack Haden) about a handful of recent deals they've secured, including the sale of 1320 Progress Center Ave, a 275k SF warehouse in Lawrenceville that was picked up by Exeter Property Group. Brad says the recovery in industrial “has a green light for now. Barring unforeseen events abroad and any new creative ways our government finds to limit enterprise at home, I think our market will continue to recover.”
The trio also recently helped the owners of 6779 Crescent Dr lease 72k SF to On Event Services (repped by Hailey Realty's Brad Pope as a result of parallel universes converging). “Several large built-to-suit deals, particularly those related to e-commerce, will scout metro Atlanta” this year, Brad says. And that will lead to spec construction “that is clearly needed on the bulk end of the spectrum.”
